Simply stated, my one purpose is to serve my Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ in all that I do and use the resources that He has given me to glorify others!

 

So, why start a blog?

Ever since I was young, I've enjoyed writing. I started out with fictional stories that were full of coincidences and sounded surprisingly similar to my life. As I got older and became busy with other things, my focus shifted, but my love of writing remained. Occasionally, I would write poems, but most of my writing was school-focused: slideshow presentations, essays, research papers, or historical fiction.

Recently, I have experienced the grace of God in my life - getting baptized in October 2016, cultivating a closer walk with God, and desiring to serve Him in all that I do. There are so many mercies that I experience on a day to day basis, and I want to share them with others through my love of writing and photography. My main message is inspired by daily insights of God's overwhelming faithfulness to me!

One of the main people that has inspired the specific style and layout of my blog is Ann Voskamp. I have been spiritually encouraged not only by her blog, aholyexperience.com, but also her books 1,000 Gifts and The Broken Way. I am thankful that I discovered her blog, as it eventually motivated me to start something similar - combine photography and writing while at the same time share God's truth!
